The D’Agostino Prize for Innovative Research in Hematological Rare Diseases celebrates outstanding scientific contributions that advance the understanding, diagnosis, or treatment of rare blood disorders. This prestigious award recognizes groundbreaking research marked by creativity, scientific rigor, and the potential to significantly impact patient outcomes.
Awarded annually, the prize honors innovation at every stage of research—basic, translational, or clinical—and encourages new explorations into rare hematologic conditions often overlooked due to their low prevalence. The recipient will be selected for the originality, significance, and translational potential of their work, as well as their dedication to improving the lives of patients.
By spotlighting excellence in rare disease research, the prize fosters scientific progress, inspires collaboration, and supports the development of novel diagnostics and therapies in hematology.
The award consists of a €3,000 grant, assigned to the researcher whose work demonstrates the most innovative approach to the treatment of a hematological rare disease. The evaluation will be conducted by five expert members of the Garden Network.
Application deadline: 15 November 2025, 2:00 PM (CET).
