The D’Agostino Prize 2025, established in honor of D’Agostino’s enduring legacy and lifelong commitment to healthcare, will be awarded on January 16, 2026.

This Prize celebrates scientific excellence and innovation in a field where research continues to make a profound difference in patients’ lives.

The  award will be conferred to Prof. Dario Balestra (University of Ferrara) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to advancing research and innovation in hematological rare diseases.

The event, promoted by the Franco and Piera Cutino Foundation, will bring together representatives from institutions, academia, and the scientific community.

The official award ceremony will take place at 3:00 PM at Franco and Piera Cutino Campus, following a welcome session and networking moments earlier in the day.

By honoring new generations of researchers, the D’Agostino Prize continues to carry forward a legacy of vision, dedication, and impact in the fight against rare hematological diseases.
